Do I need the original box?
No. We can consider many loose consoles and games, but original boxes, manuals, inserts and accessories may affect the offer.
Can I trade faulty or damaged items?
Some faulty or incomplete gaming items may still be considered, depending on the model, damage and parts availability. Tell us about any known problems before assessment.
How is my trade-in offer calculated?
Offers consider condition, functionality, completeness, current demand, expected resale value and any work needed before the item can be resold.
Can I choose between cash and store credit?
Yes, accepted trade-ins can be completed using the available cash option or Retro Gamers Vault store credit. The team will confirm both options with your offer.
Do I have to accept the offer?
No. You can review the offer and decline it before the trade is completed.
Should I remove my accounts and personal data?
Yes. Sign out of personal accounts, remove passcodes and back up or erase personal data before handing over a console or handheld. Ask us if you are unsure how to prepare a device.
