Has-Been Heroes

Product description

Guide a band of retired champions through a demanding, lane-based strategy adventure in which former legends are given the seemingly simple task of escorting two princesses to the royal academy. Their journey quickly becomes a dangerous sequence of battles against undead enemies, unusual bosses and unpredictable hazards.

Combat combines real-time movement with tactical pauses, allowing players to swap heroes between lanes, break enemy stamina and chain elemental spells for stronger effects. Routes, encounters, equipment and rewards change between attempts, encouraging experimentation and making every run different. New characters, spells and items gradually expand the available strategies. Has-Been Heroes is best suited to players who enjoy challenging roguelike progression, careful planning and learning from repeated attempts.
