Rock Band expands the rhythm-game format from lead guitar into a complete group performance. Its soundtrack covers a broad range of rock music and follows a custom band through venues and career progression.
Compatible guitar, drum and microphone controllers represent guitar, bass, percussion and vocals. Players can perform alone, combine roles locally or work through cooperative set lists as a full band.
